PhD and Postdoc Positions in Wireless Sensor Design and Analysis at Worcester Polytechnic Institute

A Ph.D. research assistantship position and a Postdoc position in Wireless/Radar Sensor Design and Sensor Data Analysis are available at your choice of Data Sciences or Physics of Worcester Polytechnic Institute, United States.

This multidisciplinary project is sponsored by the United States Dept. of Agriculture to design a Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) system to collect proper data and develop novel machine learning-based methodologies to process and interpret collected data for soil characterization. The project will include software radio design, fieldwork, data processing, and data inversion. The successful candidates should have a background in Wireless Communication, or Radar Systems, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligent with strong computational skills .
