WACCBIP appoints new Communications Manager

The West African Centre for Cell Biology of Infectious Pathogens (WACCBIP) has appointed a new Communications Manager following the departure of the previous officer. Mr. Solomon left to undertake a doctoral study at the United Kingdom. This was revealed in a tweet posted by the Director of the Centre, Professor Gordon Awandare.
He welcomed the new officer, Mr Andrew Muniru Nantogmah who is a polyglot including high proficiency and fluency in English and French.
Mr Andrew will be responsible for all the Centre’s communications and will report directly to the Director. He will be responsible for developing and implementing the Centre’s communication plan and for coordinating all the Centre’s public events. The Communications Manager will also be responsible for publicizing the Centre’s news and events, and for drafting content for the website and social media sites.
