PhD position in Cerebellar Circuits and Neurodevelopmental Disorders

Applications are invited for prospective PhD candidates to join the lab of incoming tenure-track assistant professor Dr. Aaron Sathyanesan in the Department of Biology at the University of Dayton (UD), Ohio, USA. Graduates in biology and engineering fields with research interests in brain circuits, neurodevelopmental disorders, and enthusiasm in using cutting-edge neuroengineering tools to answer questions in neuroscience are encouraged to apply.
Successful applicants will have the opportunity to work in a highly collaborative environment within the dept. of biology as well as with departments within the school of engineering at UD, which is a top-ranking engineering school in the US. PhD positions are fully funded through teaching assistantships. Funding is also available for presenting research at national and international conferences.
For international applicants: candidates with an undergraduate engineering degree (B.E./B.Tech) in bio-related majors or a post-graduate degree (M.Sc/M.Tech) in biomedical or neuroscience related areas are encouraged to apply.
