MS Assistantship in Insect Microbiota & Plastic Biodegradation

I am seeking a graduate student (MS) with an interest in insect physiology and microbiota to investigate plastic biodegradation by microbes isolated from the guts of darkling beetles at Southeast Missouri State University. Funding for four semesters is available via a teaching assistantship with an externally funded research assistantship for one summer. The position will begin in Fall 2022.
